The Process Of Your Birthday Photoshoot
Step 1: Inquire + Pick a Date
Tell me about your vision for your Birthday Photos. Give me some pointers that you find on Instagram or TikTok, if available. From here, we can plan things like getting a studio, using the backdrops I have, or just looking for the right location that fits the setting you want.
From there, you can send me the dates of your birthday & whether you'd like to shoot beforehand to post the day of. Let me know as much as you can & I will get back to you with all the information I can gather for your potential Birthday Photography Session.
Step 2: Plan The Day, Outfits, & Locations.
Once you inquire & we agree to proceed with shooting for your birthday, we can choose the day that works best for both of us. Depending on the location, I can pick out the best time to shoot for the best lighting. I can assist with booking a studio for us to use or finding a place to set up a backdrop for your home shoot.
We can then brainstorm on outfits you desire if needed. We can talk about props and what to use, including balloons, cakes, or even roses. I know TikTok has a ton of inspiration, definitely something to check out if you're still lost on what to do.
Step 3: Shoot day
Depending on the type of shoot you are going for, I'll direct differently when posing, getting candids, & overall capturing your best angles.
If it's a dedicated portrait shoot, I will focus on you and all the props & outfits you brought. I will make sure to capture what you have in mind or come up with things that I know are great on the spot.
If it's a social gathering shoot, then these were the candid moments that happen more often. Friends or Family gathering together creates a great setting for your birthday photoshoot & it can boost the vibe of your look. I'll make sure to be 10-15 minutes early for these, as timing can be unpredictable, but I will definitely be focusing on making the most of your birthday.
Step 4: Birthday Gallery Delivery
Once we are done with our Birthday Photography Session, I'll give you a date for when you can expect your photos. From here, I will get in touch with you either by text or email & send you a dedicated gallery page where you can pick the photos you want from the whole gallery.
