  • Guided posing plus real candids. I'll tell you where to stand and what to do with your hands, then give you prompts that make you laugh instead of pose.

The Process Of Your Engagement Shoot

Step 1: Choosing Your Engagement Type

From 3 session types, you can select how you want your experience with an engagement photographer:

  1. Engagement Session (Most Popular)

    • This will be the more relaxed session with your significant other. As your Engagement Proposal Photographer, I will capture what's best for your social media announcement & postcards.

  2. Surprise Proposal Coverage

    • If you’re planning the big moment, I can help you keep it smooth. As your engagement proposal photographer, I’ll coordinate timing, positioning, and a discreet shooting approach—then we can roll into portraits right after the proposal.

  3. Courthouse + Engagement Portraits (Optional)

    • Already doing a courthouse ceremony or signing paperwork? You can pair quick ceremony coverage with engagement-style portraits afterward.

Step 2: Photoshoot Day

After you choose your engagement type, we can review what you have in mind.

We can discuss locations, time, & even wardrobe if needed.

From there, we execute. Depending on your shoot type, I will be happy to coordinate & either hide or be present for your big move.

Once we get things going, we can get the best shots for you and your partner.

Step 3: Delivery & Revision

After the engagement photoshoot, I’ll share an estimated date for when you can expect your photo gallery, which I'll email or send through your preferred point of contact.

The gallery will likely have 100-200 photos, but with the package, you can only pick 60. I do offer a gallery unlock so you can purchase the entire gallery to keep and share. Once I send this over, you can do whatever you want.

Use them on social media, send postcards as invitations, & even print them as large portraits on your big day.

See my engagement and proposal photoshoot packages. Every session is delivered in just 3–5 days.

Each booking requires a 25% security deposit

  • All personal shoots include:

    • 90 minutes of shooting

    • 60 fully edited photos

    • 3–5 day delivery

    • 1 Revision Round

    • +1 hour: $200 (Extra 20 Photos)

    • Extra Edited Image from Gallery: $5 each.

Do I Need A Photographer for my Engagement?

If you want professional photos for your wedding website, save-the-dates, or announcements — yes. An engagement photoshoot also lets you get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day, which makes a real difference.

How Many Photos For A 2 Hour Session?

A gallery will be shared from your Engagement Photoshoot. This will usually have a good set of photos, and you can choose 50 from the gallery. I offer the whole gallery for a set price.

How Much Does It Cost for an engagement shoot?

My packages start at $600. Additional hours and a gallery unlock can increase the cost of your engagement shoot.

Do You Travel Outside of Houston?

Yes—share your location when you inquire & I can come up with an estimate on how much it would cost.

Do you photograph surprise proposals in Houston?

Absolutely — surprise proposal photographs are one of my specialties. I'll coordinate timing and positioning, stay discreet so the moment stays a surprise, and then roll right into engagement portraits once she says yes.
