Event Photographer in Houston for Brands, Communities & Live Moments
Need an event photographer who captures the energy and delivers content you can actually post? You're in the right place! I cover brands, non-profits, and communities across Houston.
Coverage Includes: markets · concerts · pop-ups · classes · corporate gatherings · non-profit & community events · plus more
What's Included in Your Event Photo & Video Coverage
When people ask about my "event coverage," here's what it is: It's continuous, intentional documentation of your event from the moment I walk in to the moment it ends. I don't just cover photos from one corner; I am actively moving & shooting both video & photos for your event recap & assets to use in the future.
Every event coverage package includes:
Photo coverage — Full photo coverage of setup, crowd energy, key moments, and the small details. Here, I cover everything that helps your brand be recognized and showcases who your target audience is.
Video coverage — most events pair photo and video coverage together, so you walk away with a curated photo gallery and short-form video content built for Instagram and TikTok. I can also provide raw video clips if you'd like to edit on your own.
Scaled Coverage — a smaller gathering usually only needs one photographer for full Coverage. For bigger events that require a Scaled Coverage of multiple rooms, simultaneous activities, and a bigger crowd, I bring in a second shooter so nothing gets missed while I'm covering another area or format. This might increase pricing for event coverage due to the scale of the event, but I can guarantee that we will not lose sight of what is important to you.
However your event is, I am confident that I can get the coverage you need. If you need to learn more about what is event photography, click the link to my blog post, where I go into more in-depth details on what it is & how I approach it with my current equipment.
Types of Houston Events I Cover
Event photography can cover so many things. Usually, corporate event photography is the most desired, which I do cover. Still, I also have an array of other events that I have done & will be open to doing more of.
Below are the events I can cover:
Corporate Event Photography — mixers, panels, product launches, and company gatherings. These events need coverage that looks professional enough for a press release and real enough for social media. Branding shots, candid networking moments, and speaker coverage that captures the room from both the speaker's perspective and from around the room.
Non-profit fundraisers & galas — I've covered fundraisers, galas, and community events across Houston, and these carry a different kind of weight. Donor moments, check presentations, and the small human interactions that show impact all matter here. This is content your organization can use again and again to tell its story & show its growth.
Concerts, markets & community pop-ups — This is where Houston's creative energy shows up. Live music, vendor markets, and neighborhood pop-ups call for someone comfortable working fast in changing light and crowds, whether that's a concert downtown or a pop-up market in neighborhoods. Definitely can include drone coverage here for the crowd shots when done outdoors.
Whatever the event, my goal stays the same: understand what you're trying to achieve, and deliver coverage that actually helps you get there. I'll be prepared for any type, from dressing casually to professionally; I will blend in & make sure to interact with everyone at the event to get the best posed and candid shots! The Process Of Your Event Shoot
Step 1: Inquire & Send Event Details
First, you will send me an inquiry about the details of your event. I usually will ask for the flyer, but also having the key points will be great for me to know the when, what, how, and why.
This will mostly be the date, location, time, event type, & goals. Goals are super important to know, since they show what you are trying to achieve with the event & how I can support you in achieving it with my photography & video.
Step 2: Planning Out a Shot List
Once you submit the inquiry, I will get in touch via email or text. We can then set up a discovery call so I can get pointers on what you want me to cover. This is where I create a shot list of the things you want me to capture at your event. As an event photographer, I need to know this, as the day can be chaotic for you.
Providing a schedule of when things are happening & whether there are any surprises, contests, or key details can help us a ton in knowing what to shoot. This can also help me lay out the reel, highlighting all these moments in 25-50 seconds for Instagram & TikTok.
Step 3: Event Shoot Day
Once I have confirmed the details with you, I will send you the shot list so you can have it in mind. From there, we go until the day of the shoot. I will arrive earlier than the start time & make sure everything is set up. Here, I capture the brand details, the environment, and some small details before the storm hits.
Then comes the meat of the bone. Wide shots of the crowd or attendees. Tight candid shots of people enjoying, interacting, and overall volunteering on everything that is going on. I will follow the shot list, knowing timing & execution to know where to be when things occur. All this is important to have for a perfect shoot day.
Step 4: Asset Delivery
Once we are done with the shoot, I will let you know a specific date on when to expect the deliverable (Most likely a 3-5-day turnaround). I will then share a photo gallery with you, and you can pick 60 photos from it. I do offer a gallery unlock that lets you download all the photos for use in any promotional media.
From there, I can also send you a fully edited reel to post on Instagram or TikTok. I offer 1 revision round, so you can review it & make any changes you want. I also include 15 highlighted clips that you can use for your post, stories, or anything else. Once this is all delivered, we can keep in touch for any other events you have in mind throughout the year & we can talk more for future planning.
Tip: The more you express on the music choice you want, the color grade, or even inspiration from another reel, the more closely I can mimic the recap for you

Frequently Asked Questions
What do photographers charge for event photography?
Most event photographers charge hourly, often with a 2–3 hour minimum, and pricing depends on deliverables and usage. My event coverage starts at $750 for 2 hours, with an additional $250 per hour.
What is considered event photography?
Event photography is coverage of a live experience with the goal of telling the story visually.
That includes:
Key Moments (speakers, performances, activities)
Crowd + Atmosphere (energy, reactions, candid moments)
Branding + Details (signage, sponsors, products, decor)
Content that can be used for recaps, promotion, and future marketing towards new people or organizations.
How many photos for a 3 hour event?
Photo count depends on how active the event is (speakers, performances, crowds, activities). My base package includes 80 edited highlight photos for the first 2 hours. For a 3-hour event, you'd add 1 additional hour plus 30 photos. Most events typically yield 150–250 edited photos. You can get all the edited images with a gallery unlock add-on
Are videos included with your event package?
Yes. You can add a recap reel video for an additional $250 on top of my rate. This includes:
1 vertical reel (20–45 seconds) ready for IG/TikTok
Up to 15 Captured Color-Graded Clips
You can also add extra reels ($150 each) and more clips ($20/clip).
Do you photograph non-profit and community events in Houston?
Yes — non-profit and community event coverage is something I genuinely care about. I've documented fundraisers, galas, and community gatherings across Houston, including ongoing work with local non-profits. I'll work with your budget and goals to capture content that helps tell your organization's story.
